Stagecoach Run
October 8th, 2005

 

The 34th Stagecoach Run took place in Jacksonville on Saturday, October 8th under nearly perfect running conditions. Rick Sayre ran a sizzling 33:45 to take 1st overall, and he set a new age group record (50-59) by over 1 ½ minutes. John Leuthold and Todd Ragsdale set personal records and finished 2nd and 3rd in 34:22 and 34:29, respectively. Kathy Ward was 1st for the ladies in the 10K, winning in a time of 44:29. Crater High School cross-country coach Justin Loftus won the 5K with a 16:06, while Jane Podolski took the ladies title with a 21:37. Talent Middle School won the Stagecoach Cup (5 boys, 5 girls) with a low score of 133 points to 198 for McLoughlin. Geoffrey Jensen was 1st overall in 19:22, while Morgan Martin came in first for the girls division in 20:40 for the 5K event. Thanks to all who participated!
